Satisfactory delivery is a crucial part of the service offered by World of BBQ's, and we aim to provide an efficient, professional, and punctual delivery schedule for all our products.

We are committed to providing a safe carrier service to get our products to you in perfect condition.

Delivery Schedule

Items ‘In Stock’ are normally despatched within 24-48 hours, delivery times will depend on the option selected at the checkout when ordering.

"4-6 Working Days for Delivery" items are typically available within 7 working days, our customer service department will contact you if we foresee any delays beyond this with the option to cancel or amend your order.

You will be notified by e-mail when your order is despatched from our warehouse, and an email will follow from the couriers which will include your delivery consignment number and carrier contact details to track the delivery. All orders need to be signed for and cannot be left without a signature without prior arrangement directly with ourselves.

 

Pallet Delivery

To help ensure that you receive your products in perfect condition, products weighing over 30kg or other fragile products will be delivered on a pallet. Pallet deliveries are a lot more expensive than a parcel delivery but are well worth the extra to save the frustrations of receiving a damaged product and the hassle of arranging a replacement. 

Products advertised as “In stock for immediate dispatch” will dispatch on a Pallet, generally on the same day if ordered before 3pm. Our courier will then call you within 48 hours of dispatch to book in the delivery at a suitable time to you.

If you select “Next Working Day” delivery in the checkout, delivery will be the next working day (Monday-Friday), there will not be a phone call to book delivery in. We are unable to provide a time slot, however if you ring us the morning of delivery 01298 213145 we should be able to provide an indication.

Please note, a pallet delivery is a kerb side delivery, therefore you are responsible for arranging to get the item from the kerbside to where it is required in your home. This is why we recommend the booking in service so you can make suitable arrangements. The driver will not be able to carry the BBQ up or down steps, through a property or wheel it up steep driveways or narrow paths. The driver will only be able to wheel the pallet as far as physically possible, which may only  be kerbside. Your goods will need to be signed for at the delivery address, should no-one be home to accept the goods at the prior arranged date, additional delivery charges may apply.

BBQ Collection Offer

Interested in saving some money ? If you order a large BBQ for collection we will refund £30 on collection from our Buxton store - this applies to BBQ's usually delivered on a pallet. This discount can also be used to purchase accessories in store.

What are your UK Delivery Charges?

We try to offer free delivery on orders over £100, however due to increased costs in shipping large, bulky items, some delivery surcharges will apply.  The easiest way to ascertain any delivery charges is to add the item you wish to purchase to the shopping cart and the once in the cart use the Estimated Delivery section by typing in your delivery postcode. 

Standard delivery is Monday-Friday, Saturday delivery is available at a premium, please email / call or live chat with us for a quote.

Some couriers do add additional surcharges to certain postcodes; this is completely dependent on the zone in which your postcode falls into and is beyond our control. To confirm the cost of delivery please add the items you wish to purchase to your basket and enter your postcode into the estimate delivery box for a delivery quote.

Delivery Exclusions

We do not deliver to The Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Guernsey or any other area’s outside of mainland UK.  The checkout will not allow you to order if you live in a restricted post code area.

Please note, if you choose to purchase a product and then forward delivery to an address outside our delivery areas; should the item require any kind of repair or replacement, we will only collect the product from a UK mainland delivery address.

Please note we cannot be held responsible for any orders delayed in the carrier service as this is simply beyond our control.

If parcels are damaged or items are missing, you should either refuse the delivery completely or sign for the parcels as such. If the parcel/s arrive damaged please sign for these as ‘DAMAGED’, if the number of parcels does not match the delivery note, this must be stated as 'SHORT DELIVERY'.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the actions above are followed BEFORE SIGNING as mistakes cannot be rectified once the number of packages has been signed for. All carrier related damages and discrepancies must be reported to us within 2 working days, we will not be responsible for any carrier-related damage or loss reported outside of this 2-day period.
