A new alternative to lava rock, the Outback hot rocks bring that authentic charcoal taste to your gas BBQ. Designed to offer all the benefits of lava rock without the inconvenience or hazards associated with lava rock.

These hot rocks are nonporous so fats and juices are not absorbed eliminating the possibility of grease fires or cross contamination of food smells. They have been designed with consistent shape which offers more even heat distribution, reducing cold spots and improving cooking performance. In comparison to lava rock the the sloped top of the hot rocks allows grease to run off into the drip tray or evaporate for that great charcoal flavour. The bottom of each rock is flat to ensure the piece sits flat within the basket.

Made right here in the UK from slate, ceramic and a fine mix of oakwood particles with purified charcoal which has been hardened giving it a consistent shape and finish. 55 pieces per carton.
